I’ll never forget the day my body finally told me it had had enough.

I was sitting in my car in my brother’s driveway, so exhausted I couldn’t move. My brother had to come outside, open my door, and help lift me out because I couldn’t even walk into their home on my own.

I was in my 20s. And I felt decades older.

That moment shook me. How did I get here? How did I become someone who couldn’t even get out of a car?

The Warning Signs Had Been There for Years

Looking back, I can see that my body had been trying to get my attention long before that day in the driveway.

I grew up with asthma – diagnosed when I was just three years old. For most of my life, I thought it was just something I’d have to live with. Bad luck, maybe. Genetics. Just the way my body worked.

What I didn’t know then is that asthma can be deeply connected to what’s happening in your digestive system. When your microbiome is out of balance, inflammation shows up everywhere – including your lungs.

As I got older, more symptoms crept in. Fatigue that sleep couldn’t fix. Stomach issues I brushed off as “normal.” Pain in my joints. Brain fog that made me feel like I was moving through life in slow motion. And an overall feeling that something was *off*, even though I couldn’t quite name it.

I went from doctor to doctor. Each time, I heard the same thing:

“Everything looks normal.”

But I didn’t feel normal. I felt like a shell of myself.

Finally, Someone Looked Deeper

It wasn’t until I connected with someone who was willing to look beyond standard lab results that I finally got my answer.

Celiac Disease.

An autoimmune condition where eating gluten triggers an immune response that damages the small intestine. In my case, it had been silently affecting my body for years – worsening my asthma, draining my energy, creating inflammation throughout my system, and stealing my vitality one day at a time

Getting that diagnosis was life-changing. For the first time, I had hope. I had a clear path forward.

The Healing Journey

By removing gluten, supporting my digestive health, and nourishing my body with real, whole foods, I began to heal.

My energy returned. My mind cleared. My asthma symptoms became easier to manage. And with each step forward, I realized something powerful:

Healing happens when you uncover and address the root cause.

It wasn’t a quick fix. It took time, patience, and a lot of learning. But slowly, I started to feel like myself again – maybe even better than I’d ever felt before.

Why I Do This Work

Today, I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner helping others do exactly what I did: uncover the root cause of their symptoms and create a path forward that actually works.

Whether you have an autoimmune diagnosis, chronic inflammation, digestive issues, or you just feel “off” and can’t figure out why – I’m here to help you piece together the puzzle.

My approach isn’t about quick fixes or restrictive diets. It’s about slowing down, listening to your body, and creating a plan that works for *your* life. I’m like your big sister in health – guiding you, cheering you on, and helping you feel empowered every step of the way.

You’re Not Broken

If you’ve been feeling unheard, dismissed, or frustrated with your health, I want you to know something:

You’re not broken.

Your body is talking to you. It’s been trying to get your attention, just like mine was all those years. And when you learn how to listen – really listen – everything can change.

You don’t have to stay stuck in exhaustion, pain, or confusion. There’s a path forward. And I’d be honored to walk it with you.
