A Personal Journey to Wellness
From Patient to Practitioner
Hi, I’m Juli J.
Twenty-four years ago, I was crying on a grocery store floor, desperately trying to read labels and keep my two-year-old daughter alive. She’d just been hospitalized with celiac disease, and I had to learn an entirely new way to feed my family – fast.
A year later, I was diagnosed too. Suddenly I wasn’t just cooking gluten-free for her – I was healing my own body.
That was over two decades ago. And what I’ve learned since then is this: removing gluten is just the beginning. Real healing goes deeper.
My Journey to Becoming an NTP
I became a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner because I wanted to understand the “why” behind what was happening in our bodies. I studied. I experimented. I cooked thousands of meals. And I learned that healing doesn’t come from following someone else’s perfect protocol – it comes from understanding what YOUR body needs.
Living with celiac disease for over two decades taught me that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. What works for one person may not work for another. Your body is unique. Your history is unique. Your healing journey will be unique too.
Through my own journey, I discovered that gluten-free processed food is still processed food. That box of gluten-free cookies isn’t healing your body. Real healing comes from whole, nourishing foods that your body recognizes and can actually use.
Now, I help people like you do exactly that.
